The music is intended to explore the potential of the combination of instruments to change the audience`s impression of the space surrounding them as the music is played.

On the basis of a tonic tour of the twelve-note scale, nine figures are suggested in each set.

These figures consist of sonic changes in space, shape, and texture.

The result may be likened to a voyage in three directions at once - and although the journey has familiar turns by the end of the show, the scenery is different each time.
